Why showering harder doesn't fix this.

It isn't a hygiene problem. After forty, skin produces 2-nonenal — an oil-based compound that soap and water lift right past, no matter how long you scrub. Persimmon tannins bind to it instead of covering it with perfume. That's the whole difference.

How do I know if I have nonenal?

If you're over forty, you almost certainly do. Nonenal — 2-nonenal, to be precise — is produced when the omega-7 fatty acids on your skin oxidise, and that process starts around forty for nearly everyone. It's biology, not hygiene.

You just won't smell it on yourself. It builds up slowly across years, so your own nose adapts to it completely. Which is why most people only find out when someone else says something.

How quickly will I see results?

Most people notice something after the first wash — skin that feels genuinely clean rather than perfumed over.

Give it a week of daily use for the difference other people notice. Let the lather sit twenty to thirty seconds before rinsing; that pause is what lets the tannins bind to the nonenal.

Will this dry out my skin?

No. It's built for mature skin, on a base of coconut oil, shea butter and glycerin — the same humectant used in good face creams.

No sulfates, no parabens, no synthetic fragrance. It cleans without leaving skin tight.

Why is it more expensive than regular soaps?

Regular soap can't touch nonenal. It's oil-based, so soap and water lift sweat and bacteria and leave it behind — you can scrub as long as you like.

What works is persimmon tannin, and it has to come from fruit harvested before it ripens, when tannin content peaks. Unripe fruit is a far more expensive raw material than ripe fruit or persimmon fragrance — which is what most cheap persimmon soaps use.

Bought this to combat “old people “ odor. lol We are in our mid 60’s, and have never had any problems with odor, but after reading and researching problems with aging, decided to be proactive and try it out. It smells very nice and fresh, and leaves skin feeling soft.

Why Regular Soap Can't Fix This

After 40, your skin starts producing an oil-based compound called 2-nonenal — the real source of what people call "aging odor." It's not hygiene. It's biology.

And because it's oil-based, soap and water slide right past it, no matter how hard you scrub. Think of washing a greasy pan with water alone: you can scrub all day and the grease clings. You need a degreaser.

That's what persimmon tannins do. They bind to nonenal at the source instead of covering it with perfume — which is why this soap barely smells of anything.

We combine high-concentration Japanese persimmon extract with green tea antioxidants, coconut oil, shea butter, glycerin, olive oil, vitamin E and sorbitol: odor handled at the source, skin left softer and more comfortable with every wash.

What's Inside

6 Pure Ingredients
Nothing Hidden.

No sulfates. No parabens. No synthetic fragrances.
Just what your skin actually needs.

  • Persimmon extract

    Persimmon Extract

High-concentration tannins from unripe Japanese persimmon. They bind to nonenal at the source instead of masking it — which is why your shower finally feels like it worked.

  • Green tea extract

    Green Tea Extract

Polyphenols that work alongside the persimmon tannins, plus antioxidants that help with the oxidation driving the problem in the first place.

  • Coconut oil

    Coconut Oil

Creates a rich, creamy lather that cleans thoroughly without stripping your skin's natural oils. Mature skin stays soft and comfortable, not tight.

  • Shea butter

    Shea Butter

Replenishes the moisture that mature skin loses over time. This is the reason people say their skin feels softer, not just cleaner.

  • Glycerin

    Glycerin

Draws moisture into the skin and holds it there through the day, leaving it smoother after every wash. The same humectant used in premium face creams.

  • Vitamin E

    Vitamin E

An antioxidant that helps protect skin from oxidative stress — the same process that produces nonenal. It works quietly in the background.

How To Use

5 Key Areas For
Maximum Freshness

Use it daily and focus on the areas where nonenal builds up most. Consistent use is what makes the freshness last.

  • Step 1

    Back of the Neck

The highest concentration on the body. Cleanse thoroughly every shower — this is where the difference shows up first.

  • Step 2

    Behind the Ears

Easy to skip, and exactly where odour-causing compounds collect. A few seconds here makes a real difference.

  • Step 3

    Chest & Torso

Lather generously across the chest and torso. The rich foam lets the tannins work across the largest surface area.

  • Step 4

    Underarms

Where regular soap masks and this one cleans. The persimmon tannins bind to the compounds instead of covering them with perfume.

  • Step 5

    Arms & Legs

Nonenal comes through skin oils across the whole body. Full-body use is what keeps the freshness going all day.

How to use:

Lather daily on the neck, ears, chest, underarms and full body. Let the lather sit for 20–30 seconds before rinsing — that pause is what lets the tannins do their work.

Answers to the questions we get most

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I have nonenal?

If you're over forty, you almost certainly do. 2-nonenal forms when the omega-7 fatty acids on your skin oxidise, and that starts around forty for nearly everyone. It's biology, not hygiene.

You just won't smell it on yourself. It builds up across years, so your own nose adapts completely — which is why most people only find out when someone else says something.

I shower every day. Isn't that enough?

Not for this, and it isn't your fault. Nonenal is oil-based. Soap and water lift sweat and bacteria and slide straight past it — you can shower twice a day and scrub as hard as you like.

It's the difference between rinsing a greasy pan with water and actually degreasing it. Persimmon tannins are the degreaser.

I've tried deodorants and perfume. Why would this work?

Deodorant works on underarm bacteria. Nonenal isn't bacterial and it isn't only in your underarms — it comes through skin oils across the whole body, strongest at the back of the neck.

Perfume makes it worse, not better: it layers on top without removing anything, so you end up with both. This binds to the compound instead of covering it, which is why the soap itself barely smells of anything.

How quickly will I see results?

Most people notice something after the first wash — skin that feels genuinely clean rather than perfumed over.

Give it a week of daily use for the difference other people notice. And let the lather sit twenty to thirty seconds before rinsing: that pause is what lets the tannins work. Rinse straight off and you'll conclude it doesn't do anything.

Why is it more expensive than regular soap?

Because of where the tannins come from. Persimmons have to be harvested before they ripen, when tannin content peaks — and unripe fruit is a far more expensive raw material.

Most cheap persimmon soaps use ripe fruit or persimmon fragrance instead. They smell like persimmon. That's a different product, and it's why they cost a few dollars a bar.

Will this dry out my skin?

No. It's built for mature skin, on a base of coconut oil, shea butter and glycerin — the same humectant used in good face creams.

No sulfates, no parabens, no synthetic fragrance. It cleans without leaving skin tight.

Will people be able to tell I'm using something?

No. It has no added fragrance, so there's nothing to notice — you don't walk away smelling of a product.

It looks like an ordinary bar of soap in the shower, too.

Can I use it on my face?

Yes, gently, avoiding the eye area. It's a full-body bar with a mild base.

If you have a diagnosed skin condition or very reactive skin, patch-test on your inner arm first.

How long does one bar last?

Around four to six weeks with daily full-body use.

Let it dry out between showers rather than leaving it sitting in water — a bar in a puddle disappears twice as fast.
